St Michael's Mount Ticket Portal

NT Member: Combination Ticket - Summer (1 May - 4 September)

This ticket provides access to the island, Castle, and Garden for a National Trust member.

Castle: Discover centuries of history within the castle’s walls. From its origins as a priory to its later role as a fortified stronghold, and since the mid-1600s as the home of the St Aubyn family, the Mount has continually evolved. Explore historic rooms and corridors and uncover remarkable objects that reveal the many layers of its past.

Garden: Designed in 1878 for Sir John St Aubyn, later the 1st Lord St Levan, these fragile terraced gardens showcase an extraordinary collection of plants thriving in the Mount’s unusually mild microclimate. Sheltered by rock that stores and releases heat, the steep terraces support unexpected species despite exposed coastal conditions.

Dogs are not permitted on the island. Click here for full details.

Island access is with an admissions ticket only at this time of year. Walking on the causeway is free but when the tide is in you will need to purchase a boat ticket online or from a member of our team. Proof of National Trust membership will be requested on arrival.

Please note: Ancient, rugged and steep, some parts of the island and castle can be tricky to navigate. Paths around the island are steep, cobbled and uneven with intermittent handrails. There are unguarded edges and steep drops. Sensible footwear is recommended. Unfortunately, it’s not possible to take a wheelchair or pushchair up to the Mount summit. Please see our Accessibility Guide here.
