St Michael's Mount Ticket Portal

Castle Admission - Autumn (13 September - 30 October)

This ticket provides access to the Castle.

Discover centuries of history within the castle’s walls. From its origins as a priory to its later role as a fortified stronghold, and since the mid-1600s as the home of the St Aubyn family, the Mount has continually evolved. Explore historic rooms and corridors and uncover remarkable objects that reveal the many layers of its past.

Dogs are not permitted in the Castle. Click here for full details.

It is free to access the village and the facilities at this time of year. Walking to the island is free, however, when the tide is high you will need to purchase a boat ticket online or from a member of our team.

Please note: Ancient, rugged and steep, some parts of the island and castle can be tricky to navigate. Paths around the island are steep, cobbled and uneven with intermittent handrails. There are unguarded edges and steep drops. Sensible footwear is recommended. Unfortunately, it’s not possible to take a wheelchair or pushchair up to the Mount summit. Please see our Accessibility Guide here.
