NT Member: Castle Admission - Autumn (October)
This ticket provides access to the castle for a National Trust member.
It is free to access the village and the facilities on the island at this time of year. Walking to the island is free but when the tide is in your will need to purchase a boat ticket online or from a member of our team. Causeway times can be found here. Proof of National Trust membership will be requested at the Castle Checkpoint.

There are unguarded edges and steep drops. Sensible footwear is recommended. Unfortunately, it’s not possible to take a wheelchair or pushchair up to the Mount summit. Please see our Accessibility Statement here.

FAQS
Have any questions? Please check out the FAQ section on our website. Our privacy policy can be found here.
DRESS CODE
The castle is Lord and Lady St Levan’s family home and a place of worship. All visitors are required to dress appropriately including wearing a top and shoes. Those dressed in swimwear, wetsuits and revealing clothes will not be allowed to enter the castle. Sturdy footwear is advised as the island has uneven, cobbled terrain; we do not advise flip flops for a safe and comfortable visit.
BAGS IN THE CASTLE OR GARDEN
Large bags are not allowed inside the castle or around the garden terraces to ensure the safety of the collection and fragile garden. Large bags must be placed inside the free to use bag drop by the Dairy. Small paper carry bags are available inside bag drop for you to carry any essential belongings.
DOGS
Dogs or other pets are not allowed onto the island between 1st April and 30th September including the harbour and village (other than assistance dogs). Dogs are welcome in the village area outside of these dates. See our dog policy for further information.
If you require an assistance dog please email us at enquiries@stmichaelsmount.co.uk to let us know in advance of your visit and bring with you your paperwork and harness/jacket/collar for your dog to wear during your visit.
